FORMAT
The event shall be 18 holes of better ball stableford and 18 holes of combined stableford. Points shall be awarded for score as follows:
Net Quadrouple Bogey or Worse -3 Points
Net Triple Bogey or Worse -2 Points
Net Double Bogey -1 Point
Net Bogey 0 Points
Net Par 1 Point
Net Birdie 2 Points
Net Eagle 3 Points
Net Double Eagle or Better 4 Points
HANDICAPS & SCORING
All play shall be from the BLUE tees which shall play no more than 6,500 yards and no less than 6,300 yards for the duration of the event.
Competitors will each receive 100% of their lowest revision since April 1, 2016. These combined team indexes must be between 9.9 and 34.9 to be eligible to compete. The Harvest Invitational committee has final authority on competitors’ handicaps.
Two forms of scoring shall be used for this event – paper & live. All teams are required to sign and return a scorecard upon completion of play. In addition, please download the free Golf Genius app on your mobile device, enter the GGID code ‘2017harvest’ and proceed to enter hole-by-hole scores. All competitors are welcome to use their mobile devices throughout the event for this specific purpose.
CONDITIONS OF COMPETITION
USGA Rules govern all play, except as amended by any stipulations listed above and by the following local rules:

The embedded ball rule is in effect at all times through the green.

Any ball that comes to rest on mulch around the base of trees or bushes must be played as it lies.

Sprinkler control boxes and artificial cart paths are obstructions.

Relief MUST be taken from nurseries and prepared flower beds at no penalty.
CELL PHONE USE
The use of cellular phones on the golf course, while permitted, is discouraged during play, with the exception of scoring via the Golf Genius app. We ask that any necessary conversations, barring an emergency, take place between rounds of play throughout the tournament.
GROUND UNDER REPAIR
Not all ground under repair has been marked. Obvious ground under repair, such as freshly seeded or laid turf, newly repaired drainage, and clearly roped off areas shall be considered ground under repair. Contact the golf shop should there be any question as to what may or may not constitute ground under repair.
INCLEMENT WEATHER & CANCELLATION
The Tournament Committee reserves the right to, in the interest of the event, delay or cancel the competition or portions thereof should weather render the course unplayable.

Should less than 18 holes be completed prior to the end of the second scheduled day, competitors shall be fully refunded less the cost of food & beverage.

Should no more than 18 holes be completed, the event shall be declared final and a partial refund shall be issued for 50% of the cash pool.

Should 27 or more holes be completed by the entire field, the competition shall be considered official regardless of weather thereafter and no refund shall be issued on the basis of inclement weather.
